Larry E. Hubbard / Singer / Songwriter / Recording Engineer / Musician / Music Promotor. Larry has been singing for many years and does, Rock, Country, Blues, and also Gospel music. Has played lead guitar for many years. Enjoys creating new songs. Started learning to play the guitar around 12 years old, taught to him by his brother Charles Hubbard. He taught him the boogie woogie as it was called and from there he started learning rhythm guitar then went to lead playing. His favorite artitsts who has inspired him the most was, Chuck Berry. His favorite musicians were, Elvis Presley, (whom he claims was the best entertainer of all) And admired him for his wit, voice, and entertainment skills, and kindness to people. He also saw him in concert at the Silver Dome In Michigan with a girlfriend he dated at that time. Three Dog Nite, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Chicago, Neil Diamond, Santanna, Janis Joplin, The Who. These are the groups who he listened to while growing up and have inspired him and have shaped his music to the present. When he heard Stevie Ray Vaughan playing on the radio, he said, that guy is going straight to the top. And he was well on his way. He doesn't leave out Country and all the famous artists who helped develop the country sound of today. Listening to country music has also been a big part of his life due to his father, Herman Hubbard. As Larry was growing up that's all his father listened to and as Larry says, father knows what's best. Larry performes with all award winning musicians from Michigan, Hotwalker Band, Derringer Band, also Bugsbeddow's has all helped in live performances. Larry dedicates his new CD " Billy Didn't Die" to his longtime friend, James Snipes, who has done all the piano work on the CD except, It's A Good Nite. And James Snipes done all the bass singing on the CD. James also helped with the Engineer work before his passing on 9/22/05. He will always be remembered for his love and kindness and the work he done on this new release. James, his bass singing, and piano playing, shines on this new release.
